Frequently Asked Questions

  • We currently sell our candles primarily at local craft shows and events throughout the Upstate New York region. We love connecting with our customers in person and sharing our product locally! Please see the question below regarding our event schedule.

  • Please check our Upcoming Events page for a listing of upcoming craft shows and events. As soon as we add/book new shows we will post them there.

  • Yes! Our commitment to a clean home starts with our product. We use 100% natural soy wax and high-quality fragrance oils, ensuring our products are non-toxic, clean-burning, and produce zero petro-carbon soot (unlike traditional paraffin candles).

  • While we always recommend consulting a doctor, the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology (AAAAI) states that most soy allergies are triggered by ingested soy protein. Soy wax is highly refined and filtered, removing the soy protein component. It is generally considered safe for those with soy allergies, as the wax is not inhaled or ingested.

  • You don't have to do anything at all! That is a sign of 100% natural soy wax. The white appearance, often called "frosting," and is completely normal. As for uneven surfaces, this is also very normal with 100% natural soy wax after burning and cooling. Neither affect the burn time or the fragrance.

  • Always trim the wick to about 1/4 inch before each burn. Keep the candle away from drafts and never leave it unattended. For the first burn, allow the candle to melt entirely across the top (a "full melt pool") to prevent tunneling.

  • No, never burn a candle with any lid on. This includes the open-style decorative lids. Even with the open design, the lid will trap heat, leading to excessive container temperatures, uneven burning, and potential damage or cracking of the glass. Always remove the lid completely and place it a safe distance away from the burning candle.

  • On average, our large candles burn for approximately 80 hours, and our small candles burn for approximately 40 hours. Please remember to follow our candle care tips (trimming the wick) to maximize your candle's life!

  • We hand-pour every candle with care. If your candle is damaged due to a manufacturing fault, please contact us directly via our Contact page immediately. We are committed to your satisfaction and will be happy to assist you.
